Luke Gurney of Oak Bluffs, a commercial fisherman who loved what he did, died Monday in the waters off Nantucket, June 20, 2016, embraced by the ocean. He was 48.

A wake will be held at the Rock Funeral Home located at 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford on Saturday, June 25 from 2pm to 6pm.
